Giraffe

Rothschild giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi). This subspecies of giraffe is found in Uganda and north-central Kenya. It is distinguished by rich brown colours separated by broad white lines. The giraffe is the tallest of all land mammals, males grow to a height of up to 5.5 metres and females are usually about a metre shorter.
